What shell ?!

According to a report, a Florida woman was hospitalized after a turtle struck her through the windshield of her car and suffered a head injury.

The 71-year-old was riding Interstate 95 with her daughter on Wednesday morning when the reptile crashed, Daytona Beach News-Journal report.

The daughter enlisted the help of another motorist after calling the police.

“There’s a turtle there,” the man can be heard saying in a 911 recording obtained by the newspaper.

“A turtle!” The daughter said. “An actual turtle?”

The gash in her mother’s forehead shed a lot of blood, but did not seriously injure her.

Dispatchers told the daughter to pressurize the wound to stop the bleeding until the ambulance gets her to take the mother to the hospital.
