A Washington state doctor is accused of plotting a twisted plot to kidnap his iconic wife and break the hands of an ex-employee in order to hire a hitman on the “Dark Web” .
Dr. Ronald Craig Ilgh, a neonatologist in Spokane, was accused last week of tipping his soon-to-be-ex-wife as part of an alleged plan after investigating the Dark Web by a group of reporters, Spokesman-Review reported.
The wife told FBI investigators that she believed he was trying to land someone using bitcoin while on vacation in Mexico, according to court documents.
When he returned from the trip last Sunday, Ilg questioned the authorities.
Ellag said authorities acknowledged that he used the site but claimed that his plan was to find someone to kill him so that his property could go to another woman in exchange for his wife.
Ilg allegedly used the site for the first time in February to hire someone to mame a former employee. The Daily Beast told.

According to jail records, Ilgh was detained at the Spokane County Jail, where he stayed on Monday.
If found guilty of kidnapping charges, they face up to 20 years in prison, the spokesperson-review reported.
