Zhao did a good job in his forgotten American race test, but Old Hollywood’s Fincher’s dazzle was a true achievement. Too bad Sunday will not be his moment.

Will win: “Soul”
Should Win: “Soul”
Apparently, I’m also a fan of “Named”, but the jazz-influenced stunner “Soul” mastered the Pixar formula of touching story, wit, and lush animation.
