Former President Donald Trump called the Medina Spirit a “junk” on Sunday, after a horse test for an illegal substance was detected by a Kentucky Derby-winning trainer.
“So even now our Kentucky Derby winner, Medina Spirit, is a junk. It’s worth considering what is happening to our country Trump said in a posting On my blog site.
“The whole world is laughing at us as we go to our borders, our fake presidential elections, and to hell everywhere!” The former commander-in-chief said.
Bob Baffert revealed earlier in the morning that Medina Spirit tested positive for bitamethasone in a post-race drug test.
In Kentucky racing, the horse had 11 images of anti-inflammatory above the legal limit.
The hall-of-fame trainer, Buffert, said it was “shocking” because Medina Spirit has “never been treated with betamethasone.”

“Yesterday I got the biggest gut-punch in racing for doing nothing,” Buffart told reporters at Churchill Downs in Louisville. “This is disturbing. This is an injustice to the horse. “
Beffert was suspended from Churchill Downs, but Medina Spirit has not yet been disqualified from competing in the second leg of next Saturday’s Craziness, Triple Crown.
