Breeder makes smiley face emoji snake which is sold for $ 6K

Sss-mi!

A snake breeder accidentally created a dragon with the bizarre smiley-face emoji marking – and sold it for $ 6,000.

Georgia’s Justin Kobylka said he had been trying to perfect a different pattern on the lavender albino ball python a year earlier. According to UPI.

Kobilka later smiled to himself when the laughing snake sold for around $ 6,000 – sixty times the price of a typical ball dragon.

Kobylka said the happy accident would likely pop up in only one of the snakes she had bred for the rare color combination.

One type of pattern on snakes may occur naturally due to repeated gene mutations, but yellow smiley facial symbols will likely not be found in the wild, he said.

On his company’s Facebook page Kobilka, which has reared snakes for over 20 years, features other rare snakes with polka-dot-style markings and rare bright colors.
