Florida woman posing as plastic surgeon arrested after nose tip

A report on Sunday said a Florida woman was arrested as a licensed plastic surgeon after she had strangled a man.

56-year-old Alcalira Jimenez de Rodríguez was in the midst of performing another procedure on Thursday when Doral police officers thwarted her mid-surgery, The Miami Herald reported.

Investigators began investigating Jimenez de Rodríguez last month as a former patient approached him about his rhinoceros neoplasia.

According to a police report, locals identified as Vincenzo Zarlo paid $ 2,800 for the surgery, which was to be repeated because his nose was not healing.

Even after the second procedure, the man said that his nose was still deformed. The report stated that he asked Jimenez de Rodríguez for his medical license number and information on his medical malpractice insurance, but he refused to give it.

Investigators said they were able to confirm with the Florida Department of Health that Jimenez de Rodríguez had not been granted a medical practice license in the state.

The bogus surgeon allegedly prescribed zurlo painkillers and antibiotics under the name of another doctor who raised red flags, He told WTVJ.

He said, “She can’t fix my nose, she has given me medicine from another doctor. She can’t find a solution to my pain, so something is wrong, something is wrong.”

“She was the one with surgery that day, she ruined my life.”

Jimenez de Rodriguez was charged with practicing medicine without a license. He was being held in the Miami-Dade County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond.
