No. 2 overall: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
It has been clear for weeks now: Joe Douglas will take his shot at finding the franchise quarterback to the Jets. Wilson has a large arm and against weak competition, however, he had a standout season in 2020. This pick changes the course of the franchise for the immediate future and, in the long run, Jets Hope.

Total 23: Jeremiah Owusu-Coremoa, LB, Notre Dame
There is a school of thought that the Jets should focus on getting Zac Wilson’s help with this pick, but I don’t think they can force it. The draft will be top-heavy on offense, with quarterbacks and receivers going quickly. This will force some good defensive players on the board. Owusu-Kormoa is a great fit for Robert Saleh’s defense and could be a hybrid linebacker / safety for him.
