Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons may be disqualified to play in the NBA All-Star Game, who was in contact with the man who recently tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday night.
Eastern Conference coach Doc Rivers said that “it doesn’t look too good” for the two Philadelphia 76ers stars, who are facing contact with a personal barber before coming to Atlanta.
“Both [players] Traveled on private planes by myself, and down in the Atlanta bubble there was no contact for other players or people, Tweeted
. “This quarantine process was implemented according to the NBA’s normal strict protocol. Embiid and Simmons have not been in contact with others in Atlanta due to the league’s quarantine. ”

Due to the COVID-19 protocol, the NBA condensed the All-Star weekend into a single day. The Rising Stars game was canceled and the slam dunk contest was moved to halftime of the All-Star Game, with a 3-point competition and skills competition preceding the game.
