Police look for NYC robbers who threatened to shoot the victim

Police are searching for two men who robbed their sleeping victim in The Bronx last month and threatened to shoot him before fleeing.

Police said the NYPD on Saturday released surveillance video and photos of suspects wanted for questioning in the April 14 incident inside Dantoya, a 24-hour parking lot on Crotona Parkway.

Police said the 24-year-old man was sleeping inside his van at around 11:30 am when two unknown people opened the vehicle door and took his wallet. One of the robbers told his partner to shoot the victim, but there were no casualties.

The age of the accused is said to be slim between 15 and 17 years. He ran away with a credit card and a cash purse.

In the 34-second video clip released by the police, two youths are seen running from the parking lot.
