Superintendent arrested in murders of wife, daughter, lover: report

The former sheriff detective allegedly arrested his wife, teenage daughter and her high school football star boyfriend on Monday morning.

While 41-year-old Stephen Broderick was collared near a city manor, 12 miles north-east of Austin, Copse received a call about a man driving along 911 to US Highway 290, KVUL’s Tony Plohetsky. Reported in a tweet

He said that the suspect was arrested without any incident.

Broderick is suspected of killing his wife, Amanda Broderick, teenage daughter, Alyssa, and Willie Simmons III, a standout linebacker who signed with the University of North Texas, according to reports.

He retired from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office last year after being charged and went to jail on charges of molesting a 16-year-old girl. Austin American-Statesman reported.
