T-Mobile has announced a new perk for its customers: the year of access to a version of Pandora with ad-free stations on weekends, along with some other benefits, at an additional cost. Not to be confused with Pandora Paid Premium Service
, But a version of the free service with some additional extras. It begins on March 23 as part of the company’s T-Mobile Tuesday promotion, which is included in most postpaid plans.
Starting next Tuesday, customers can redeem the offer by logging into the T-Mobile Tuesday app and through their Pandora account. Later – ironically, they would have access to music stations without commercials over the weekend, seeing a short advertisement each week. They will get early access to SiriusXM podcast episodes, SiriusXM original podcasts and exclusive “top track” stations. All the features included with the standard free version of Pandora are definitely available.
Access to this version of Pandora will last until March 2022, at which point T-Mobile’s user accounts will revert to the standard version. There are no current plans to offer such an account to other customers, during or after the promo period. It’s not really a promotion worth switching to T-Mobile, but if you’re already a subscriber and you use a free Pandora account, it’s a nice bonus – so long as you get it every week I do not feel like seeing an advertisement. .
