A 72-year-old woman was pepper-sprayed and robbed in a Brooklyn elevator on Sunday morning.
According to police, the woman was in an elevator at 1024 Montgomery St. in Weeksville around 11:30 am when the miscreant slapped her and took her bag off her shoulder.
The robber then sprayed the victim in the eye as he took out several items from the bag, police said.
The suspect took $ 450 in cash, a bank card and items described as “trinkets”, police said.
He was described as in his 30s.
