8 convicted in alcohol related deaths after Ohio fraternity party

Prosecutors said Thursday that an Ohio fraternity pledge has been charged with the deaths of eight people who were found unconscious after a campus party.

The suspects were charged in March in the death of Bowling Green State University’s Sampler Stone Foltz on charges ranging from involuntary mansolter to hedging.

University officials have said that three days after the death of 20-year-old Foltz and four students of the P. K. Kappa Alpha fraternity were encouraged to finish an entire bottle of wine.

According to a lawyer for Foltz’s family, he was released into his apartment by the fraternity’s brothers and his roommate later found him unconscious.

He was brought to the hospital, where he was put on life support and later died.

According to the prosecution, six of the accused were charged with involuntary manuscripts, serving a maximum prison sentence of three years.

Reckless murder, felony, assault, alcohol intoxication, violating the law and obstructing government business are some of the other charges.

It is not clear what the relationship is between the brotherhood and the eight – who are aged between 19 and 23.
