Nets star James Harden suffered a “setback” in his right hamstring rehabilitation, Team announced on Tuesday, And he will be out indefinitely.
The nine-time All-Star experienced a setback during an on-court rehab session on Monday and underwent an MRI on Tuesday. Brooklyn coach Steve Nash, who was on the workout, said Harden “did nothing normal”, but felt “at the ballpark of tension”.

Nash said before Tuesday’s game between the Nets and Pelicans. “Whenever we can, we will rehabilitate him and get him back, and who knows when that will happen?” But we will support James, and we will support our performance team in getting him back into better shape.
“And hopefully that comes sooner rather than later, but there is no guarantee. We just keep running away, we keep moving forward and we hope to get well soon. “

Harden, who is averaging 25.4 points, 11.0 assists and 8.7 rebels per game with the net, emerged as the MVP candidate before being sidelined with a hamstring issue. He has missed the last six matches in Brooklyn.
Since acquiring Harden in January, Harden’s Nets “Big Three”, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have played together in only seven total games. Durant suffered a left thigh contusion in Sunday’s game against the Heat, but Nash said the injury was “a matter of day-to-day.” The team hopes to return soon.
