CLEVELAND – Aaron Hicks called the guilty verdict in the Derek Chauvin case “mindless”.
Hicks, who played a game on April 12 in which news that Daniel Wright had been killed by police in the suburb of Minneapolis the day before, was encouraged by the fact that Chauvin, a former police officer, was charged with all three He was convicted on the charges – second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree murder – and faced up to 40 years behind bars on the top charge of the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis last summer.
