The “solution” actually consisted of sodium chlorite, a toxic compound commonly used for water treatment on industrial scale or for bleaching fabrics, one stated Press release.

Mark Grennan, 62, and his three sons – Jonathan, 34, Jordan, 26, and Joseph, 32 – were all charged with one count of conspiracy to commit fraud and two counts of criminal contempt in relation to their alleged COVID-19 treatment. Charges have been made with it.

The family also claimed that their products would cure Alzheimer’s, diabetes, autism, malaria, hepatitis, Parkinson’s, and herpes upon oral recovery.

Prosecutors said that consuming concoction could lead to vomiting, diarrhea, low blood pressure, and death; Officials did not say if anyone using the product fell ill.

The defendants are accused of creating a fake church called “Genesis II Church of Health and Healing” to sell the product without government regulation.

Under the alleged scheme, buyers would donate to a fake church in exchange for a dangerous solution.

According to investigators, dozens of chemical drums containing 10,000 pounds of sodium chlorite powder and thousands of bottles of Miracle Mineral Solution were seized.

Federal officials said the Grennan family had previously been sued by the federal government and ignored orders to stop production of the product.

The prosecution said that the defendants allege that if the court order is implemented, the judge will be charged with threatening the judge in that case with violence.

According to the release, several firearms, including a firearm, were seized in a custom made violin case.

If convicted on the charges, Grens faces life behind bars.
