According to a new poll released on Sunday, three times as many Americans say they believe security on the US-Mexico border is worse than it was under President Biden, as it was under former President Donald Trump.
About 45 percent of Americans said they agreed that the situation on the southern border is worse than it was two years ago. Fox News poll found.
Thirty-three percent said it was about the same, while 15 percent believed it was better.
When the same poll found in 2018 that the assessment is the opposite, only 15 percent of Americans said they believed security at the border had worsened under Trump compared to two years earlier.
The latest survey surveyed around 1,000 registered voters between 18 April and 21 April.
About 38 percent said they “completely” believe that the increase of migrants attempting to cross the border illegally is due to the fact that Biden is president.
And another 39 percent said that Biden’s presidency is “mostly” or “a little” to blame, while only 15 percent agreed that it had played no role as voted.
