NFL Draft Rumors 2021: Keeping an eye on the latest leaks, news, business discussions before Round 1

Smokescreen season is in full effect.

NFL officials know what they are doing: Any piece of information is as good as a feast at this time of year, with the draft cycle both getting wide open and coming to a close in just a few days.

So far, there have been a number of trades that shook the top 10 of the 2021 NFL Draft, with many teams rumored to be moving into the top 10 in the coming days – or perhaps on Draft Night – which could also happen this year. Change the draft scenario.

2021 NFL Draft Rumors

49B separated from QB decision

According to ESPN’s NFL Draft Analyst Todd McShay, there are currently 49 people on whom QB is ranked No. 3. McShea says that head coach Kyle Shanahan prefers Mack Jones, while the team’s personnel department prefers passer Trey Lance of North Dakota State.

Many Patriots looking to trade in top 10

Both the Lions and Panthers are fielding calls for 7 and 8 picks, respectively, and the Eagles and Patriots are among teams that may be interested in going into the top 10.

The Panthers can still take a QB at No. 8
