Lawmakers request ATF nominee investigation Hunter Biden Gun paperwork

A group of 22 members of Congress are seeking the nomination of President Biden to head the ATF, alleging that Hunter Biden lied on a background check to buy a gun.

When local police began investigating the incident, agents from the Secret Service showed up to the store where it purchased the gun and asked them to do the paperwork related to the sale, according to the report.

The shop owner first refused to turn over the documents to the Secret Service, but eventually changed the paperwork for ATF investigators, the report said.

The paperwork suggests that Hunter marked “no” as the question, “Are you an illegal user, or addicted to marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic, or any other controlled substance?”

Hunter has a long history of drug abuse issues – some critics question if he lied on the farm, which would be a federal felony.

The Secret Service said at the time that they had no record of involvement in the case.
