China’s state-run Xinhua news agency reported Wednesday that a knife attack killed two children and injured more than 16 people in a kindergarten in China’s southwestern region of Guangxi.
Xinhua previously reported that two children were seriously injured in the attack at 2 pm (0600 GMT) in Beilieu City.
Xinhua cited the city’s propaganda department as saying that the condition of 16 injured is improving.
Police arrested a suspect, Xinhua had already reported.
