Bangkok, April 30 – Thai protest leader, Parit “Penguin” Chiwark, who is jailed for pre-trial detention on charges of insulting the king, has been hospitalized after a 46-day hunger strike in the country. The Department of Corrections said on Friday. .
Parit began his hunger strike on March 16 and his weight had dropped to over 26.5 pounds to 208 pounds, the statement said, adding that he was sent to the hospital due to concerns that he could go into shock if his condition worsened. Huh.
