The sound of thuds was heard throughout the ballpark and immediately heaved a loud gasp from the crowd at Citi Field.

Albert Almora Jr., in the eighth inning of the first Mets-Orioles game, went to the right-center field fence on Austin Hass Drive, initially catching the ball, but coming in contact with the wall, it was disorganized.

The 27-year-old stayed down for a few minutes, eventually with the help of training staff to get near his feet and slowly to the dugout.

He received an ovation from the crowd at Citi Field.
