The credit scene could be a long-running cameo after WandaVision episode 8

Vandavision Episode 8, “At First,” is all in the backstory that fans of the series have been waiting for. Not only this, the audience learns how Wanda was injured at Westview and brought the vision back into the picture after the events Endgame, We also get a glimpse of her childhood in Sokovia And At a time when Agatha Harkness first used her real powers.

No spoiler (we’ll get to that), but anyone should know before watching “Formerly” that the eighth episode drops an important post-credits scene after the first round of credits. And that’s a sign of what we’ll see next week – perhaps not even that vision actor Paul Bettany has to swing in front of the audience a week.

“Previous On” is a true information-dump / tee-up that should be a classic Marvel Finale action setpiece. First of all, we see Agatha back in colonial days that looks like a burning stake during the Salem witch trials, but is actually a group of witches who put her to death to dub her into black magic! The plan backfires, and Agatha becomes the power-hungry Agatha we know from Westview.

With Wanda imprisoned in her dungeon cellar, Agatha spends most of the time whispering supernatural through her memories, to understand how she was able to make such a brilliant combination of mind control and broadcasting. Her claims: Wanda is not just a genius telegenic used by Hydra during events age of Ultron – She believes that she Real witch. In a scene set during her childhood, which depicts the incident that brought her up against American terrorism, Wanda apparently makes real use of Stark Industries’ missile, which arrives at her home in Sokovia is. As Agatha writes at the end of the episode, “You’re the Scarlet Witch.”

Although known by the moniker in the comics, no one in the MCU has actually referred to Wanda by that hero’s name. Now this is the climax of the plot. But before Wanda can deal with it, we get a post-credits scene that brings Vision back into the picture.

As we see in “East,” the vision we see at Westview is not “real vision” – it is completely new by the unfathomable power of Wanda. Real Vision is dead, and is broken into bits in a SWORD lab. Wanda does not steal her body as it is believed, at some point there were meanings two Darshan in reality (despite being possible by Mind Stone, a pinnacle of known power in the universe).

In the last few episodes, Monica, Jimmy, and Darcy discover cataract, a secret SWORD project of director Tyler Hayward. The plan was not really the track and decommission vision, but in theory, they had a revive of the old version. Now it seems, Hayward has done, using the remnant of his powers of Wanda removed from the spy drone.

In the moment after the credits, we see a white version of the vision come to life. Now there are actually two scenes: one stuck in Westview (as seen in Episode 7 talking to the camera) and one working for people who want to eliminate Wanda.

“There’s a character that hasn’t been revealed,” Bettany told Esquire back in February. “And it’s very exciting. This is an actor whom I have longed to work with all my life. We have some amazing scenes and I think the chemistry between us is extraordinary and there are fireworks on the set. “

Many speculated as to who might be the cameo – Benedict Cumberbatch stepping in as Doctor Strange. John Krasinski as a new Reid Richard Fantastic FourThe But now the answer seems clear: the character may be … Paul Bettany himself, playing White Vision. In a world with two views, one can only assume that the two will have a chance to meet in the most spectacular way. This is called “cheeky British humor”.
