NYPD video: The girl headed through the Bronx minutes before meeting alone

A heartbreaking video was posted Twitter A young girl is shown by the NYPD through the Bronx on Sunday when she was found alone on the side of the road.

Police said the girl – who was about 4 years old and used the name “Siada” – after Saturday midnight police found that she was alone at the corner of Prospect Avenue and East 156 Street.

Investigators get surveillance Video The NYPD said that a woman leading the youngster through the streets just 10 minutes earlier.

Police said the clip shows the woman in her mid-20s and about 5-foot-2 as the pair head west on Fox Street to Leggett Avenue.

After crossing the street, the woman – whose face was mostly covered by a headscarf – pauses to turn back and sees the young girl running slowly behind her.

The woman, in a denim jacket and white Converse-style sneakers, moves forward again as the little girl chases her, looking as if she walks in rain boots and wearing just a blue sweater and sweatpants.

Police said the girl – who is yet to be identified – was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where she was evaluated for good physical health. She is currently supervised by Child Services.
