Man and woman shot while driving on Major Dagen Expressway

Police said a man and a woman were shot by a driver of a Range Rover on a Bronx highway Sunday morning.

The gunship began around 5 a.m. on the Major Dagen Expressway, in which a 27-year-old woman, who was driving a Mercedes SUV, was shot in critical condition, the Copts said.

The 35-year-old man, who was in the Ford Edge, was shot in the leg, police said. The driver of the Range Rover was believed to have opened fire, police said.

According to police, the woman was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical condition and the man went to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

There was no immediate arrest.
