Two crooks robbed an 82-year-old woman as she watched a movie in an Upper West Side theater, authorities said.
The disturbing plot twist happened inside the AMC Lincoln Square 13 on Broadway near West 68th Street around 6:50 p.m. Oct. 3 when the pair targeted the woman and latched onto her bag, police said.
The senior tried to hold onto the purse, but to no avail. The suspects got away with the bag, which held credit cards and a cell phone, cops said.
The victim was not hurt, and police are still looking for the suspects.
It was unclear Tuesday whether the elderly victim was a New Yorker or a tourist, or what movie she was seeing at the time.
Cops released surveillance images of both suspects over the weekend.
