Cardinal Timothy Dolan told Lt. Government Cathy Hochul on Wednesday that New York was praying for him – and jokingly said he could “light some candles” after celebrating St. Patrick’s Day Mass.
Dolan’s remarks at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan sparked applause and applause amidst admirable scandals and threatened to remove the government from office.
