Peter Nygaard allegedly tried to ‘bribe’ daughter with $ 1M house to denounce innocence

Gir fashion mogul Peter Nygaard allegedly tried to “bribe” his daughter of $ 1 million to co-sign her bail package and publicly announced her innocence, she told Canadian officials.

The 20-year-old college student told police that her 79-year-old father called her, “I told her that I am sure I am very confident, you are not going to get anything in return.” From prison in January, according to a transcript of his interview released on Thursday.

“I don’t think it was a bribe in a way.”

Nygaard, charged in Manhattan federal court on charges of sexual assault and rape of dozens of girls and women, has been jailed in Canada while awaiting extradition to the US.

The daughter – whose name was withheld – said she was not comfortable saying that she is innocent.

“He put me in a very difficult position,” he told Royal Canadian Mounted Police Sergeant Lance Goldou in a March 4 interview. “Because you don’t want to leave this person who came from you … but if I do that then I’m basically slapping, slapping in the face?”

“I don’t completely believe that,” he said.

Canadian authorities call her daughter from Headingley Correctional Center after making her initial bid for bail.

In addition to the house, he said he would sign an affidavit acknowledging paternity. The Bahamian woman, who attends the university in Canada, did not learn that Nygard was her father until later in life.

The woman considered the proposal, but after doing some research, she realized that she was not Canadian, as she was not proposed and the proposed Quid Pro was not legal.

The transcript of her interview was released as a hearing was underway at the Manitoba Court of Appeal in Winnipeg last month to appeal the lower judge’s decision to dismiss her for the second time.

The newly released court papers also revealed that Nygaard has a cushion in prison.

An affidavit from a prison supervisor states that Nygaard has for himself a three-man cell containing a TV, a plastic chair and his personal phone.

The supervisor wrote, “No other cell in HCC has the same phone access.”

According to Manhattan federal prosecutors, a Silver-man designer accused of molesting and raping women at the age of 14 was arrested in December to satisfy his “man-daily” hunger for sex.

Prosecutors say the designer hosted “pamper parties” in his Bahamas and Los Angeles mansions.

One of his latest accused to come forward is supermodel Beverly Peel Exclusively told The Post Nygaard had allegedly sexually assaulted her and made her pregnant.

They were sued by 57 women who said they abused them.

Nygaard denies any wrongdoing.
