Corey Seager to Rangers on 10-year deal

The Texas Rangers now have two of the best shortstops on the market, only further diminishing the Yankees’ options to make a splash at the position.

Corey Seager agreed to a 10-year, $325 million contract with the Rangers on Monday, The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed. It comes just a day after Texas came to terms on a seven-year, $175 million pact with Marcus Semien. Both were considered optimal fits for the Yankees, who are looking to upgrade from Gleyber Torres. Semien will likely play second base where he won the AL Gold Glove last season with the Blue Jays after moving over from shortstop.

The 27-year-old Seager, whose contract reportedly does not include an opt-out, hit .306 with 16 home runs, 57 RBIs and a .925 OPS with the Dodgers last season. He is a two-time All Star.

L.A. has now lost its biggest free agents after Max Scherzer bolted for the Mets.

The only infield move the Yankees have made so far is signing former Met Jose Peraza to a minor league contract.
