‘Tis the season of future endeavors.
While WWE has a reputation for signing some of the world’s best wrestling talents, it has also gained notoriety for misuse and, eventually, release of talent. The coronovirus epidemic ballooned Komonoz’s release list in 2020, but the same is expected to happen this year, as several big-name wrestlers have already been released from WWE contracts.

With WrestleMania 37 just a few weeks away, the company is passing its annual “Spring Cleaning”, during which it releases masks to the stars. There have been a few releases so far in 2021, with a surprising name on the list.

WWE released 2021
Andrade
Release: March 21
Andred (formerly known as Andred “Cyan” Almas in WWE) allegedly requested his release in March, and it was granted on 21 March. Luchadar was a one-time NXT champion and had little success on the main roster, however, winning the one-time United States Championship.
Known in NJPW and CMLL as “La Somra” prior to his NXT arrival, Andrade would likely find success in some other wrestling.
Lars Sullivan
Report released: Feb 2021
Sullivan was being booked as a potential all-world heel before the injury in 2019, and several controversies followed: Sullivan had myogoginistic and racist comments surfaced on the internet forum, as well as one prior to his wrestling career His appearance appeared in an adult film. In progress.
Talking with fightful Earlier in the year, Sullivan revealed that he fights issues of concern, and the company controlled his release with grace.
He was quietly released in February due to not receiving “Future Endeavor” treatment on WWE.com.
Steve cutler
Ongoing: Feb 4
Cutler was released on a third of the Contacted Sons, after being held steady in the wake of controversial tweets by former President Donald Trump and Jackson Rocker about the Black Lives Matter movement.
Some reports indicate that Vince McMahon was “fiery” with Cutler (Real name Steve Macklin) appears at a New Year’s Eve party, while the company continues to navigate the COVID-19 epidemic.
Unfortunately, I was released today. It was shocking, to say the least. But, I am excited about the future and all the possibilities before me.
