Lala Kent would ‘shut down’ Randall Emmett rumors

“Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay begs to differ with Lala Kent’s claims that “no one voiced concern” about her failed relationship with Randall Emmett.

Shay claims that Kent “would have shut down” any suggestion from co-stars that her then-fiancé was cheating — despite her recent assertion that the cast should have “brought [rumors of Emmett’s cheating] to my attention.”

“I think James [Kennedy] and Kristen [Doute] had said that they had heard things years ago. But at that time, if anyone who had heard anything would’ve brought that to Lala, she would’ve shut it down,” she told Us Weekly on Monday.

“She says, ‘Now I wish people came to me.’ But at the same time, if people did come to her then and she didn’t shut it down and she did leave him, she wouldn’t have [her daughter] Ocean,” the singer continued, referencing the 10-month-old son Kent, 31, shares with Emmett, 50.

Shay, 36, noted that the “‘Pump Rules” cast have dealt with a lot of “bulls–t” claims throughout the years that their partners were cheating.

“No one believed it,” she said of rumors that Kent’s beau was unfaithful.

“I remember sitting with Ariana [Madix] one night and she gets a message on her phone that was, like, ‘I was with your man [Tom Sandoval] last night.’ And she’s like, ‘Really? Because we were watching a movie in bed,’” Shay recounted.

“So people say things like that all of the time … I think anything anyone had heard, they just dismissed because they thought it was bulls–t.”

Her comments come a few weeks after Kent called out her co-stars on a podcast.

“I wish that somebody would have come to me and said, ‘I’m getting DMs about your person.’ No one voiced any concern for me and my relationship,” the Utah native said in December during an interview on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.

“James and Sandoval both expressed that they knew things. As time passes, I have a lot of people that are telling me things. Everyone wants to say, ‘It’s not your business.’ How would you feel? I would give everything to turn back the clock and have someone tell me something.”

Page Six broke the news in October that Kent dumped Emmett after a three-year engagement amid allegations that he cheated on her. That month, Kent said she had “proof” that the movie producer had stepped out on her.

“I know that he had sent messages that said he never [was], but there’s proof elsewhere,” she told Page Six at the time. “Bottom line is, I feel like I was in a relationship that was based on nothing but lies.”
