Arch Manning, Peyton and Eli's nephew, looks like real deal

While the Mannings are attempting a takeover of the broadcast world, Peyton and Eli’s nephew is taking steps toward picking up the quarterback mantle.

Arch Manning, the son of Cooper, played his first game of his junior season Friday night as his Isidore Newman High School in Louisiana easily put away Vandebilt Catholic High School, 28-0.

Manning went 19-of-34 with three touchdowns and scampered for 50 yards, too, according to Saturday Down South, as the No. 1-ranked quarterback nationally in his class gave colleges a bit more to dream about.

All of his scores came in the first half, and arm strength does not seem to be an issue.

It will be another two years before Arch’s games are nationally televised, wherever they are. He told 247 Sports recently that he planned to visit Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss and Clemson this year.

His father, Cooper, played at Ole Miss before a spinal stenosis diagnosis forced him off the football field. Eli went to Ole Miss, too, while Peyton went to Tennessee.
