Sen. Marco Rubio is urging President Biden to take “training on unconscious bias” after using the term “Neanderthal” to criticize Republican governors who criticize convent governors.

Florida Republicans humorously describe the term as a “stereotype” and noted on Thursday that many people of Eurasian descent descend from extinct hominid species.

“President Biden’s use of an older stereotype is harmful to modern Europeans, Asians and Americans, who inherit about 2% of their genes from Neanderthal ancestors,” Rubio tweeted.

“He should apologize for his insensitive remarks and undergo training on unconscious bias.”
