Britney Spears and Sam Asghari will not be attending 2022 Oscars parties together on Sunday, multiple sources told Page Six.
Fans speculated online whether the couple would make their first awards show appearance together at the 94th annual Academy Awards since Spears, 40, became a free woman.
However, an insider tells us that Asghari, 28, is heading to the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscars viewing party with a friend.
A separate source tells us Spears “may be away.”
Asghari posted videos on his Instagram Stories of himself getting ready before he arrived at the star-studded fête.
He tagged Donatella Versace, noting that he wore a tux the Italian designer recently gave him.
“I had to put my fancy dress pants on for tonight,” the actor and former personal trainer quipped.
Ahead of the Oscars, Spears shared on Instagram that Versace, 66, had paid her and Asghari a visit to provide them some fashionable attire.
“Look who came to visit … these 2 bad bitches are up to no good ??? …” the pop icon captioned a carousel of photos from her Thousand Oaks, Calif., mansion.
The visit from Versace only further fueled rumors that Asghari and Spears were getting fitted for the upcoming award show.
Although Spears has not been spotted Sunday in her own luxurious Italian design, the “Toxic” singer is slated to wear Versace for her upcoming wedding day.
“No … this is not my wedding dress bahahah !!!!” she captioned Instagram photos of herself in a pink ballgown in November 2021.
“Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak,” the “Stronger” singer continued, adding, “Have a good night folks !!!!”
Spears and Asghari got engaged in September 2021 after dating for five years.
Asghari’s talent manager, Brandon Cohen of BAC Talent, exclusively told Page Six at the time, “The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them.”
The “Black Monday” actor popped the question at Spears’ home with a ring that has a 4-carat round brilliant stone in a platinum cathedral setting, enhanced with a floating solitaire design. It also has Asghari’s nickname for Spears, “Lioness,” engraved inside the band.
Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline — the father of her sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15 — from 2004 to 2007. She also had a brief union with her childhood pal Jason Alexander for just 55 hours earlier in 2004.
The Grammy winner was previously engaged to her former agent Jason Trawick in 2011, but the pair called it quits by 2013.
A rep for Spears declined to comment. Asghari’s rep did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
