Buffalo vs. Kent State Line, Prediction: Take Favorite

The battle for the No. 2 seed in the MAC tournament will be decided on Friday when Kent State goes up in New York to face a buffalo team that has won seven of the last eight matches.

Buffalo ranks sixth in terms of wealth per game in the country and will look to speed things up. Kent State ranked 65th in the nation on guard per game possessions, injuring guard Michael Nuga, but dropped to 120th without him.

Nuga led the team in 3-point shots per game. The Golden Flashes must face Buffalo’s defense, ranked No. 6 nationally in opponents’ 3-point shooting, with only two players who make up at least 31 percent of their 3-pointers. Nougat led all scorers when for the first time these teams met with 23 points in Kent State’s 84–81 victory in January.

The teams are equally adept with the Bulls, ranked 38th in the nation, on a possession basis in points and Kent State ranked 41st, with both teams using second chances to score points. Buffalo finished fifth in the nation, rebounding 35.9 percent of his missed shots, while Kent State ranked 10th, while missing 34.9 percent of his time.

The Bulls, who have scored at least 74 points in 18 of their 20 games, are impressed with 17.1 ppg from Jonathan Williams. He must make his way under a major starter to get revenge against a Golden Flashes team.

drama: Buffalo, -5.
