COVID-19 extends vaccine eligibility to NY people and more than 50 people

50 and older will be eligible to receive the coveted COVID-19 vaccine starting in New York on Tuesday.

“Vaccines will be available to people 50 years and older, so we’re reducing age,” Cuomo said during a closed press briefing at Grace Baptist Church of Mount-Burton.

“Tomorrow morning, 50 and up … make your appointment, and get your vaccine.”

Earlier this month, Cuomo reduced the eligibility age from 65 to 60.
