Dorinda Medley remembers late husband 10 years after his death

“Real Housewives of New York City” alum Dorinda Medley posted a touching tribute to her late husband Richard 10 years after his death.

“Dorinda, You are My True North,” she began her caption, quoting Richard.

“10 years ago my husband, Richard H Medley, my friend and my partner, passed away,” Dorinda continued. “I now look to him as my “True North” and know that he is still protecting, guiding, and watching over me. I will always love you.”

Alongside the touching tribute, Dorinda, 56, posted photos from the couple’s 2005 nuptials and a video of a tree adorned with flowers and dried pamp as grass outside her Bluestone Manor home in the Berkshires.

“Dr. Richard H Medley. 10/16/2011 #RIP #missyou #10yearanniversary,” she ended her post.

Dorinda often expressed the impact her late husband’s death had on her while she starred on “RHONY.”

“I think reality TV saved my life because after Richard died and [daughter] Hannah went to college, I was lost,” she told Page Six in 2017. “I lost all my identity — I was no longer a wife, a mother . . . I was like, ‘Really? This is what 50 looks like?’ ”

Dorinda, who joined “RHONY” for its seventh season in 2015 and exited at the end of Season 12 in 2020, shares daughter Hannah with her first husband, Ralph Lynch, but she viewed Richard as a father, as well.

The reality star added that the Bravo series “took me away from the grieving … It made me get out and focus on something completely different.”
