Eight injured in six overnight shootings across NYC

Police said gun violence in the Big Apple led to the shooting of six people overnight.

Most of the incidents occurred within a period of about two hours, one evening earlier.

Recently, a 25-year-old man was sitting inside a car with a 33-year-old man on Williams Avenue near Livonia Avenue in Brownsville around 1:33 a.m. when a group of men came near and one opened fire on their vehicle. Started, according to the police.

An hour ago, a 26-year-old man from NYCHA’s Dr. Ramon E. He was shot in the arm once in front of a building on East 137th Street near Brown Place in Mott Haven, based on Betons Houses II. Police said.

The victim, described as overcrowded, also went to Lincoln Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Officials said minutes before midnight, two people were shot at Rockaway Parkway and 134th Street.

The gunman took off after the incident.

Around 23:30, a 23-year-old man was shot in the right thigh during a brawl with another man on West 126th Street in Harlem, on the grounds of General Grant House.

The victim, who was described as uncooperative, was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside in a stable condition.

The first shooting of the evening took place inside the staircase of East 170th Street and Grand Concourse de Train Station in Mount Eden in the Bronx at 8 pm, police said.

A 26-year-old man, who was shot in the leg, went to St. Barnabus Hospital in a stable condition.

The shooting circumstances were not clear, as he too was uncooperative, police said.
