Khamenei says Palestinians should ‘face the enemy’ in the midst of the Israeli-Hamas conflict

Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei tweeted on Tuesday that Palestinians should “stand strong” and “face the enemy” shortly before Tel Aviv was targeted with a rocket.

“Palestinians are awake and determined. They should continue this path. Only with these criminals can we speak with the language of power, “Khamenei Wrote on twitter.

He said, “They have to increase their strength, stand strong, face the enemy and force them to stop their crimes.”

Less than 10 minutes later, Israel Defense Force Reported on twitter

The sirens of that air raid were going from Tel Aviv, as a barrage of 130 rockets was launched from Hamas into the city.

The launch activated Israel’s anti-rocket defense system.

Later on Tuesday, Aaron Klein, a senior adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, questioned why Twitter did not take action on Khamenei’s tweet.

“How has Twitter not banned the post provoking Ali Khamenei against terrorism against Israel?” His tweet is a virtual gesture for Iran-backed Palestinian jihadists, ” Klein tweeted.
