It is not easy that both those sentences can be true. They are absolutely true. They are certainly true. This does not undermine the work that Nash has done, his first trip, keeping the Nets at or near the top of the Eastern Conference all year. You are also allowed to mention that he has never coached a playoff game in his life.
Both can be true.
Both are true.
Nash said that we have to provide some kind of buffer while getting acquainted with our plans and sets.
