Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Mussella claims that 24-year-old teacher Samantha Krakower had “inappropriate sex” with a student.

“During the investigation, it was discovered that [Samantha] Krakower, who is also a softball coach and basketball coach at Leona High School, began an inappropriate relationship earlier this school year, ”Mussela said in a statement about the teacher’s alleged misdeed.
Samantha Krakow is looking into allegations of sexual harassment and criminal sexual contact for crossing the border between teacher and student.
He is also accused of endangering the welfare of a child.

The superintendent said that students, staff and teachers would have access to counselors in the wake of Samantha Krakower’s arrest for sexual abuse.
Bertolini said in a statement, “Although these are pending charges and no decision has been made regarding the crime, the notification of these allegations is of great concern to the Leon Board of Education and the entire Leoni community.”
Samantha Krakower first began work in Bergen County in September 2020.
