More than 179,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered at record highs in the time of Gov. Andrew Andrew, New York on Friday.

But the governor explained that the fight against Coronavirus is not over.
“We are still in a leg race to keep the rate of infection down and increase the way of vaccination. While the infection rate is a function of our behavior, the vaccination rate is directly tied to supply and the demand for vaccine is still far from our supply, ”he said.
“We will continue to work with our federal partners and the vast vaccine distribution network so that we can get the dose as soon as possible – with a focus on vulnerable and underseated communities – and get weapons shot as soon as possible.”
