NFL schedule release 2021: betting prediction, total over-under for every team win

The NFL schedule has been officially released, and speedy bookmakers are already looking to take advantage of the betting lines. This includes season wins total over / under, which are fun to take for casual fans who are just looking for a little bit of action.

Here Betikel’s opening win is on each team’s win, keeping in mind that injuries and trades (ahem, Aaron Rodgers) can still shake a lot before the season begins. In addition, it is important to remember that there is an extra game this season, so factor in if the total seems to be particularly high or low.

NFL schedule release 2021: betting picks, predictions for NTF team win

courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook

Arizona Cardinals: Won Total / Under: 8

Pick: UNDER (+110)

The Cardinals had a solid NFL draft and brought in JJ Watt to defend with playmakers slumping across the field, but the offense needed to be more consistent with quarterback Kylar Murray and head Cliff Kingsbury in 2021 is.

If I was more confident at Kingsbury, it would be an OVER play on an incredibly talented team, but the NFC West is very difficult to predict eventually.

Atlanta Falcons: Win Total O / U: 7.5

Pick: UNDER (+127)

Atlanta’s offense should go back to its old ways because at No. 4 it is after selecting all the tight end Kyle Pitts, but does the defense plan on getting any stops this coming season?

The overall win of 7.5 is low, but the NFC is in the south wind and I don’t back down from feeling safe to watch the Falcons win during a season with this bad of a defense.

Baltimore Ravens: Win Total O / U: 10.5

Pick: OVER (-155)

The Ravens are the ones who are at this point. Lamar Jackson should have this team in a tough defense and a dynamic regular-season quarterback winning the OER 10.5, as seen by the extra wig that you have to pay to wager it.

The Steelers are due to reintegrate into the division, and Baltimore should once again be able to compete less.

Buffalo Bill: Win Total O / U: 11

Pick: OVER (+115)

AFC East should be better in 2021. The Jets are improving, the Patriots have made some good offers, and the Dolphins seem primed to be one step ahead.

However, it is difficult to never go to this number. The Bills had one of the best offenses in the NFL in 2020, and Josh Allen is only getting better. With the 23rd-toughest schedule by last year’s record, Bill could be a contender for the best record in the AFC.

Carolina Panthers: Win Total O / U: 7.5

Pick: OVER (+110)

You can read more about why I think the Panthers are a Dark Horse playoff team Here.

Chicago Bears: Win Total O / U: 7.5

Pick: UNDER (-130)

Before I join this win, two questions need to be answered: when is Justin Fields starting, and what’s up with Aaron Rodgers?

If Rodger is out, it changes the color of the NFC reply. If Fields is starting early in the season, the Bears are going to be better than expected, possibly fighting for .500.

Cincinnati Bengals: Win Total O / U: 6.5

Pick: OVER (+118)

This number is interesting, plus-money on the OER. Hopefully Burz will be ready for 1 week, and Bengals has done a good job around him. If the 2020 No. 1 pick is healthy, this team could fall to third place in the division.

Cleveland Brown: Win Total O / U: 10.5

Pick: OVER (+107)

The Browns front office is pressing all the right buttons. Another strong child has a team to claim for the AFC crown.

Baker Mayfield should continue to progress in 2021, and the return of Odell Beckham Jr. could have Brown’s offense firing on all cylinders around an improved defense. A record of 11–6 seems more than attainable.

Dallas Cowboys: Win Total O / U: 9.5

Pick: UNDER (-130)

Mike McCarthy had a disorganized first season in Dallas. While Dak Prescott may be ready for 2021, will the defense improve?

Dallas could not stop a nose bleed in 2020, while Presscott had a powerful offense before leaving. McCarthy can quickly get himself out of the job with another bad start. The NFC East is wide open, but the total may be much higher.

Denver Broncos: Win Total O / U: 8.5

Pick: OVER (-150)

The price is heavily overshadowed towards OVER – and appropriately so.

The Broncos are not just linked to Aaron Rodgers, but they are also due to some good fortune. The entire defense was shut down in 2020 and could not stay out of its way. Even without the Rodgers, the Broncos should be able to get over .500 with the amount of talent on the roster.

Detroit Lions: Win Total O / U: 5

Pick: UNDER (+107)

It should be interesting that the lion tries to kneel on the field. Do not touch

Green Bay Packers: Win Total O / U: Off The Board

This price is off the board as we await news of Aaron Rodgers.

Houston Texas: Win Total O / U: 4.5

Pick: UNDER (-143)

It is hard not to go to UNDER here. The prevailing sentiment is that Watson is set for a prolonged suspension due to pending lawsuits against him, and there is not a lot of talent on the roster. Tyrod Taylor and Stanford rookie Davis are the backups behind Mills Watson.

Indianapolis Colts: Win Total O / U: 10

Pick: UNDER (-139)

One of the easiest schedules in the league is the only thing stopping me from going under this price. When I’m bullish on Michael Pittman Jr. in his second season, there’s a sort of it in a passing game with Ty Hilton on the hill.

We’ll see if Frank Reich can revive the career of Carson Wentz, but I doubt it.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Win Total O / U: 6.5

Pick: OVER (+110)

I was skeptical of Urban Meyer becoming the NFL coach, and he did not change my thoughts offscreen. His supporting cast of coordinators are mentioned, and he brought Tim Tebow back into our lives.

However, there is some talent on the roster, and the division is going to be easier than in previous years. Overaver might be worth watching with Trevor Lawrence.

Kansas City Chief: Win Total O / U: 12.5

Pick: OVER (-123)

With the Chargers and Broncos improving, the division is becoming more difficult – and the Chiefs’ schedule is the 11th-toughest in the league – but getting a plus-money over Patrick Mahomes is his total enticement to winning the OVER.

While there may be some general fatigue on the roster, the Chiefs dream of a regular-season team that has the ability of the Mahomes to make all the plays.

Las Vegas Raiders: Win Total O / U: 7

Pick: UNDER (-110)

Vegas has the same characters as last season’s 8-8 team. The win total highlights a top-10 tough schedule, as well as a tough division. I’ll stay away

Los Angeles Chargers: Win Total O / U: 9

Pick: OVER (-110)

A trendy pick to take a tangible leap in 2021, the Chargers had a wonderful child.

The organization brought in Brandon Staley from the Rans as head coach, picked offensive lineman Reshaven Slater to glowing reviews in the first round, and has one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the hand, Justin Herbert. The record for LA in 2021 seems to be a 10-7 record.

Los Angeles Ram: Win Total O / U: 10.5

Pick: UNDER (-121)

Rama acquired Matthew Stafford, who would join the most talented team ever. Coach Sean McVay feels more comfortable with the former Lions starter than Jared Goff, and Stafford will be tasked with navigating the competitive NFC West.

LA has a tough schedule, the 10th-toughest in the NFL, and may have caused a lot of injury in defense after having played all 16 games last season. Tread carefully

Miami Dolphins: Win Total O / U: 9

Pick: OVER (-150)

The Dolphins were knocking on the doors of the postseason in 2020, but they should be able to break through Tua Tagoveloa in 2021, who gave the franchise the key.

The team acquired several weapons to throw at Will Fuller and former Alabama teammate Jaylen Waddle of Tagovailoa to make the team less reliable on the sting defense. The price is compounded to OVER for a reason, but Miami will be challenged in 2021.

Minnesota Vikings: Win Total O / U: 8.5

Pick: OVER (-139)

The Vikings are a good bouncy candidate. A team that was soon uprooted by an injury had not really found its footing until it was too late in the season.

Dalvin Cook is a star running back, and Kirk Cousins is still a serveable quarterback. With a trail of questions surrounding the Packers, Minnesota could regain the crown of the division.

New England Patriots: Win Total O / U: 9

Select: OVER (-121)

Cam Newton is likely going to start the season as a first team quarterback, but it will be interesting to see if Mack Jones is more involved.

The Patriots spent a ton of money in the offseason, and it’s unclear whether Newton still deserved to be the starting QB.

New Orleans Saints: Win Total O / U: 9

Pick: OVER (+103)

No one knows for sure if Jameis Winston or Tysam Hill will be the starting quarterbacks, but the Saints are set to take a step back in 2021.

A blotted cap sheet and roster turnover can save the Saints from serious degradation. Firing on this UNDER is the only thing that the team has a bottom-10 schedule in terms of difficulty.

New York Giants: Win Total O / U: 7

Pick up: Ever (-130)

The Giants have given Daniel Jones all the weapons to succeed, now will he? This would be the big question in New York after a heroic defensive effort was put together in 2020 to thwart the anemic offense.

If Jones can stay on the field and avoid giving the ball an over turn, then New York has the most talent in the NFC East.

New York Jets: Win Total O / U: 6.5

Pick: OVER (+127)

The Jets had a formidable progeny that included finding a strong head coaching candidate in Robert Saleh and a new offensive coordinator in Mike LaFelur.

With Zach Wilson set to No. 2 to bridge a new era of JT football, the team may shock some. I’m Bullish on OVER, and have written about it Here.

Philadelphia Eagles: Win Total O / U: 6.5

Pick: UNDER (+127)

Jalan Hurts was a mixed bag in a small sample as a quarterback for the Eagles in 2020, so the jury is still out on that. While the team drafted former Alabama receiver Deity Smith, this roster is still far from its Super Bowl winner himself.

The NFC East is for graves, so maybe the eagle is surprised, but it can go south very quickly for Philly – it’s a costly over.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Win Total O / U: 8.5

Pick: UNDER (-110)

I wrote why I am selling to the Steelers in 2021 Here, But the drafting going back to the first round has to be baked into the cake.

San Francisco 49ers: Win Total O / U: 10.5

Pick: OVER (+107)

The Niners should be much more competitive in 2021. Whether it is Jimmy Garpolo or Trey Lance, San Francisco’s defense should return to their Super Bowl form with better health.

The NFC West is going to be a gauntlet, but this team is going to be dangerous in the coming season.

Seattle Seahawks: Win Total O / U: 9.5

Pick: UNDER (+110)

Will Pete give food to Carol Russell?

Wilson’s reports of Seahawk issues have dissolved over time, but this is a tough NFC West. I am staying away from this victory.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Win Total O / U: 11.5

Pick: OVER (-134)

The defending Super Bowl champions found their form in January and went on to bring the entire team back.

The NFC South is going through some radical changes, but the Bucs should dominate. Not to mention, they have the fourth easiest schedule in the NFL.

Tennessee Titans: Win Total O / U: 9

Pick: OVER (-110)

The Titans lost some contributions on both sides of the ball, but the AFC South is once again to the graves.

How will the team react to losing offensive coordinator Arthur Smith?

Washington Football Team: Win Total O / U: 8

Pick up: Ever (-130)

The football team had a solid draft and veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick was brought in to help support one of the strongest strongholds in the league.

In a wide open NFC East, why can’t Washington make it back-to-back title?
