NYC metro gets bogged down by Good Samaritan

In the latest off-the-rail subway attack, a good Samaritan was bitten and suffocated in a D train in Columbus Circle on Saturday.

Police said the suspect was harassing a passenger in the Uptown train at around 5 pm when another passenger intervened.

According to the NYPD, the 44-year-old suspect vented his anger on the doer and attacked him with his mouth and hands.

Police said the police arrested the unidentified assailant and the victim went to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The attack comes at a time when four people were killed in a 12-minute span by a group of suspects in a metro crime spree and one was punched at three Manhattan stations.

In the latest shameless attacks underground, there are several candidates for MTA officials and mayors who are calling the city hall to increase police presence in the metro.
