NYPD officer struck by vehicle in Brooklyn

An NYPD officer was struck by a vehicle in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, sources said.

The cop appeared to have been hit during a vehicle stop near East 83rd Street and Farragut Road in Canarsie at around 6:30 p.m., according to police sources.

The officer was taken to Kings County Hospital with cuts to the face and a possible broken leg.

Two teenagers, who were inside the vehicle, fled the scene on foot.

Cops were on the lookout for the suspects Wednesday night.
