A report said that police in Ohio shot and killed a man on Tuesday – Minneapolis policeman Derek Chauvin was convicted of killing George Floyd.

Deadly shooting on Legion Lane in Columbus, officers were called to the disturbance just after 4:30 pm, WBNS-TV reported

The man who was shot, was taken to Mount Carmel East in critical condition, but later died in hospital.

Police said that no officer was hurt during the incident.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear.

The news outlet reported that the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was responding to the shooting.

The shooting surfaced shortly before the jury, including Chauvin, who is white, guilty for second- and third-degree murder, and second-degree murder on May 25, 2020, killing Floyd, who was black.
