Police said a man was injured in a horrific fire in a Long Island home on Thursday night.
According to police, the explosion occurred at an eastern plains house on 7th Street at 8:30 am.

Police said the explosion caused some damage to the neighbor’s house.
Police said that a resident, who had minor burns on his hand, was admitted to the hospital.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
