Dangers of not properly disposing of a fake body.
A UK woman was taken hostage after a wrongly placed Halloween prop led to a group of 10 police officers besieging her house on suspicion that she had committed murder.
“I arrived home from school to see two police vehicles running from outside my house,” said Cara Lewis of the 28-year-old Bearford News.
Fiako was instigated by a dummy wrapped in garbage bags and duct tape that the mother of two used as a creepy decoration at a holiday baby party.
Lewis said, “My 5-year-old boy is really ready for every occasion, so we worked with a circus theme inside and he prepared it.” “So the prop in the garden was part of our theme.”
Lewis had kept unclean buds in the garden since November. However, the barber had recently moved the holiday holdover behind some dustbins while gardening and forgot to put her older son back from school before taking them.
Go figure: Macabre prop aroused suspicion among Lewis’ neighbors, who dialed the UK emergency number 999, prompting one of the 10 officers to arrive at the house of an unconvinced mother.
Lewis was surprised to find that his house had become a crime scene after arriving home. “I get out of the car to my neighbor in which I jokingly ask ‘What have you done?’ “Said the dead mother. “Then I was told [the cops] There were people all over my house as three people called to report an autopsy. “

The enraged mother told him that “she was asked to cut it out and release” but eventually decided to keep her in the shed with the others until the next Halloween.
Waves of gross misunderstanding remain on social media with one commenter saying, “Neighbors clearly thought you were capable of murder and dragged you in. I won’t talk to them anymore.”
“Did they really check to make sure it’s not a body? Or was it the right crime?” Joked another.
While Lewis certainly saw humor in the situation, she said she has “a tip for all parents who go out on Halloween.”
“Dispose of props or keep them safely away,” she warned.
This is not the first time police have been called on graphic Halloween decorations. A Texas man inspired several police visits after making a series of bloody holiday demonstrations directly related to “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”.
