Police said a 30-year-old BMW passenger was killed when his friend behind the wheel collided with a truck on the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn.
Karen Diaz died when 30-year-old Mark Mark Dukhan died in Express Mark West, who slammed a 2013 535 535 I BMW sedan from the back of a 2000 white Freightliner truck, ejected by a 46-year-old male Gaya, who was out 17. 92nd Street in Bay Ridge, police said.
EMS activists declared Diaz of Staten Island dead.
Ducan, also of Staten Island, was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition.
He was later killed due to charges including being intoxicated – after being previously convicted for the same crime within the last 10 years – and refused to take a trachea test, according to police.
Police said both the vehicles were stopped at the scene and the truck driver was unrestrained.
