Youncis did not throw a chance to beat Astro this week. See what I did there? Fans booed, they pinched, they shouted, they brought inflatable trash bins and made their presence felt. While the Yanks did not sweep, they took two out of three and went over 500 over the weekend.

To talk about the series, Giancarlo Stanton’s hot bat and how fans respond, we bring you a new episode of “Pinstripe Pod” with Chris Ler and Jeff Nelson, featuring an interview with Jim Lairitz.

Pinstripe pod opening segment with Chris, Jeff and Jake:

  • Schemes- ASTROS: The Yankees needed to win the series on a good team. Would it have been sweeter if they had dismissed Jose Altuve on the big occasion? There is a need to go deeper into the games by starting pitching. The Yanks need to start Kyle Higashioka behind the plate. How did fans greet Astro?
  • Giancarlo Stanton: Fans are required to withdraw the boon. He has been very hot. He is hiding the struggle of Aaron Judge about how he is tearing the cover off the ball.
